FOSDEM 2015 will take place at ULB Campus Solbosch on Saturday 31 January and Sunday 1 February 2015.I’ll be traveling to Europe next week to attend FOSDEM for the first time, in Brussels. I’m not sure but looking at the social stream this FOSDEM sounds like the biggest ever, and am excited to see a lot of friends from all around the world and across many communities, not just Ruby and Perl but also from Go etc.

There’s a keynote by Larry Wall on Perl 6 as well, which title sounds a bit controversial — but I’m pretty excited about it anyway.

I’ll bring my mobile podcast gear with a few microphones so I can hopefully record some interviews for Rebuild.

And of course there will be beers.

After FOSDEM I’ll move to Amsterdam, and then Köln in Germany. It’s my first trip to Amsterdam and cannot wait to see around the city.
